Job Details / Job Description:

  • Development of radio frequency (RF) systems and handling post-production problems/defects
  • Unit wiring design, layout, assembly, modification, and handling of measuring instruments
  • Design and development of transportation system materials
  • Design support for wire harness–related tasks
  • Handling issues and defects after mass production of high-frequency (RF) systems
  • Supporting creation of new product documentation (OMS) for NPI/CIP builds
  • Electrical engineering design and revisions including assemblies, layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings under minimal supervision
  • Investigation and implementation of engineering document changes following standard procedures
  • Escalation support for various tools (troubleshooting electrical module/tool errors and providing fast solutions)
  • BoM creation and Engineering Change Management
  • Designing or modifying electrical equipment for manufacturing and assembly
  • Developing manufacturing processes with operator input
  • Designing electrical test methods and testing finished product/system performance to ensure product quality
  • Researching customer requirements and testing manufacturing/assembly methods and materials to develop electrical products
  • Preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Providing engineering information by responding to questions and requests
  • Maintaining product and company compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Creating computer programs and maintaining product databases

Responsibilities:

  • Cable design unit activities
  • PCB design
  • FPGA design
  • PLC design
  • Troubleshooting and resolving RF system issues during development and after mass production
  • Unit wiring design, layout, assembly, modifications, and measurement operations
  • Supporting transportation system material design and wire harness design tasks
  • Executing engineering document changes and ensuring compliance
  • Providing escalation support for engineering tools and equipment issues
  • Supporting new product documentation and OMS creation
  • Performing electrical testing, analysis, and product quality assurance
  • Maintaining technical documentation, BoMs, and change control

Team Size / Team Structure:

  • Work is performed at the customer’s office
  • Approximately 2 of our client's company members are already working on-site
  • You will be part of this small, integrated on-site team
