"Legal Group Manager" in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Industry: Legal; Law Practice; Work Type: In-office; Full-time

 Overview:  Provision of commercially focused guidance, advice and assistance to the the company's Digital Technology division over a broad range of legal and compliance matters (including handling information technology, intellectual property, data and e-commerce matters). First line support for SeaRates FZE legal matters. The job holder is a key member of the the company's Technology legal team. The job holder is required to provide guidance and advice in respect of legal queries or issues in relation to commercial contracts. The job holder shall ensure that reliable, commercially focused, advice is provided in an efficient and effective manner. The majority of the job holder’s time will be spent at head office in Dubai.

Overview:

  • Provision of commercially focused guidance, advice and assistance to the the company's Digital Technology division over a broad range of legal and compliance matters (including handling information technology, intellectual property, data and e-commerce matters).

  • The job holder is a key member of the the company's Technology legal team. The job holder is required to provide guidance and advice in respect of legal queries or issues in relation to commercial contracts.
  • The job holder shall ensure that reliable, commercially focused, advice is provided in an efficient and effective manner. The majority of the job holder’s time will be spent at head office in Dubai.

Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • User/customer terms and conditions, and contracts
  • IT vendor contracts (incl. software licenses, services, maintenance, SLAs)
  • E-commerce contracts (incl. EDI, partnerships, e-payment contracts)
  • Specific projects incl. partnerships with government authorities/users, expansion into new territories/markets, and development of new products/services
  • Vendor/partner terms and contracts (for the company's e-commerce platforms)
  • NDAs/MOUs/LOIs for new initiatives/expansions
  • Internal agreements (licenses, SLAs etc) within the company's divisions

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide effective, reliable and user-friendly support, advice and assistance to Digital Technology team on commercial contract transactions. Focused support for SeaRates FZE
  • Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of legal documents (including specifically information technology, intellectual property, data and e-commerce related agreements/terms), ensuring that legal and compliance requirements are met within such documents
  • Make clear and commercially focused recommendations in respect of commercial contact issues. Effective escalations of non-standard aspects in commercial contracts
  • Act as a liaison between commercial colleagues and Group Director - Legal. Provide effective reporting to Group Legal Director, SVP Digital Technology and Digital Technology finance team
  • Act as an ambassador for the company at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with the company’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following the company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Law Degree from an accredited university
  • Qualification to practice law from a recognised legal regulatory body
  • Minimum 4 years post qualification experience in an internationally recognised law firm and/ or multinational company but consideration will be given to those with different PQE. Preferably experience working in the Middle East region
  • Enthusiasm for information technology, intellectual property, data and e-commerce matters, and preferably also international trade and logistics
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business needs (including awareness and sensitivity to differing international legal and cultural business practices, and the flexibility to work within different cultural environments)
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to effectively negotiate legal issues and transaction documentation with counterparties
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Good English language working ability and drafting skills
  • Preferably knowledge of English/common law and UAE law

CRM Specialist in Al Habtoor, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; In-office; Full-time Industry: Real Estate; Construction

 As a CRM Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, enhancing client satisfaction, and improving overall customer experience. JOB SUMMARY:

As a CRM Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, enhancing client satisfaction, and improving overall customer experience. You will handle SPAs (Sales & Purchase Agreements) and contracts, inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships with both potential and existing clients. Your role will focus on utilizing CRM systems to track interactions, analyze customer data, and deliver personalized communication.

Note: Should have a Real Estate Developer background. Should have experience dealing with CRM software. Experience dealing with DLD is a plus. With at least 3-5 years’ experience in the same profession. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). The candidate should be available in UAE, with transferable visa.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with potential buyers, sellers, renters, and investors.
    • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their queries, concerns, and needs promptly.
    • Track customer interactions using CRM software to ensure all details are recorded and followed up on in a timely manner.
  • Database Management:
    • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of customers, prospects, and leads.
    • Ensure accurate entry of client information, transaction history, and preferences into the CRM system.
    • Segment clients into groups based on needs, preferences, or status to tailor communication.
    • Client Onboarding & Support:
    • Responsible for SPAs and contracts.
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they understand the services offered and the company’s processes.
    • Provide post-sale support, helping customers with their queries regarding property details, documentation, and transactions.
  • Lead Generation and Conversion:
    • Generate new leads through various channels (online platforms, referrals, etc.).
    • Qualify and nurture leads by maintaining consistent contact through calls, emails, or social media engagement.
    • Support the sales team in converting leads into clients by providing relevant information and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments:
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth handling of client transactions.
    • Assist the marketing team by providing customer insights for campaign development and targeting.

  • Leveraging data analytics, market insights, and client feedback to identify opportunities, support GTM execution and enable clients to utilize the company's platforms to optimize transaction fraud across transaction portfolios
  • Partner with sales and solution teams for success in pre sales/sales/ post sales client engagements for diverse clients and segments
  • Support operating models and service SLAs to execute at scale
  • Partnering with stakeholders to align on mass initiatives objectives, priorities, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Fluent English, Ukrainian languages mandatory!
  • Has exposure and knowledge of the transaction fraud risk domain across payments and other transactions
  • Has a good working knowledge of at least a few leading fraud management solutions
  • Preferably has experience in dealing with clients in pre-sales/platform integration/ client performance management landscape with respect to specialized solution platforms
  • Helped achieve commercial success by planning & executing end to end program implementations at scale working with stakeholders
  • Candidate has worked on driving business impact in B2B environments through excellent program management and operational execution skills
  • Experience designing and running product enablement and /sales campaigns of scale
  • Good skills in communication, business presentations, coordination, and planning with diverse cross-functional teams
  • Possesses an action-oriented, driven, and collaborative mindset
