TXM Recruit is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician for a distribution center in Sedico on behalf of a leading automation and intralogistics company.

As a senior maintenance technician, you will be responsible for preventive, reactive, and scheduled maintenance of on-site systems and machinery.

Working Hours:

• Shifts include morning, afternoon and night, with the possibility of working on weekends.
• We work five days a week:
• Morning: 06:00 – 14:00
• Afternoon: 14:00 – 22:00
• Night: 22:00 – 06:00 (+USD 23.- gross)

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance activities throughout the site, contributing to continuous improvement efforts
• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated storage, transport, sorting and picking systems
• Record the activities performed and the information on failures in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) system
• Provide high-level maintenance support for systems installed at the customer's site
• Maintain and care for machinery and work areas

Requirements and Required Skills:

• Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance
• General experience in maintenance and willingness to learn new systems
• Authorization to work in Italy
• Ability to hold a conversation in Italian and preferably also in English

The company is building up their resident team at one of the biggest logistics centers in Europe for one of ourcustomers – a world-wide leader in sportswear and fashion located in Mantova (MN). Equipped with the latest techniques, once completed, the system will require the employment of dedicated and motivated technicians who will keep it running on a daily basis, who will solve problems when or even before they occur, and who willcontribute to its further improvement – all to the benefit and satisfaction of our customer.

As a resident service technician, you carry out reactive maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to the highest standards and ensure high availability of the automated system. All our team members are part of our continuous improvement process. To ensure the availability of the site to our customer, our technicians work in alternating shifts which typically include one night shift per month. Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing tasks on all parts of the system while observing established health and safety practices
• Intervene quickly when errors occur
• Communicate clearly with others and to troubleshoot efficiently
• Support the continual improvement process by using the information gained through trouble shooting for feedback and suggestions
• Ensure high availability of the equipment 
• You have a qualification in electrics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, IT or automation
• You have gained experience in maintenance task
• You are able to read and understand mechanical layouts and circuit diagrams
• Working in a workshop is not completely new to you
• You are able to communicate in the Italian language and ideally also in English

Benefits package:

• Base salary from 30k (junior) to 44k (senior)
• Payment of overtime
• Payment of surpluses for night work (15%) and Sunday work (30%) (ca. 1.000 EUR per year)
• Additional payment of 20 EUR per night worked (ca. 1.000 EUR per year)
• Profit sharing bonus (group level bonus based on the group results – was ca 2k last year, can also be less) – however, entitlement from > 6 months in the company
• Canteen contribution, i.e. the company pays 6 EUR of the 8 EUR lunch voucher for the Mantova canteen (2 EUR to be paid by the employee)
• Smaller benefits consist in an additional health insurance and a benefits portal for discounts in online shops (10% to 50%)
• Shift pattern for the Maintenance Technicians. Alternating shifts of 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00, 22:00 – 06:00 with alternation, 3 days shift 1, 2 days break; 3 days shift 2, 2 days break; 3 days shift 3, 2 days break, and so on
• Shift bonuses for Maintenance Technicians: no particular shift bonus other than the above surpluses

These technicians will take care of preventive, reactive and scheduled maintenance of the machinery on site. They will also use their electrical and mechanical skills to ensure that the distribution plant is operating efficiently and at maximum capacity.

Our client is available to evaluate both Junior and Senior technical candidates. The ideal candidate possesses a basic knowledge in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
