Description
Mselect is looking to hire a Senior
Construction Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant construction
and installation activities of the Oil & Gas industry. Fluency in English
is a must.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- To generate Construction Work Packages from detailed engineering deliverables in details from concept to mechanical completion
- Monitoring of construction contractor performance to ensure full compliance with approved designs and schedules
Qualification:
- Qualification BSc in engineering or equivalent is preferred although lesser qualified candidates with extensive/relevant experience instead of qualification will be considered
- Conversant with international codes and standards
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant construction and installation activities of the Oil & Gas industry
- Onshore/Offshore exposure to working within live oil and gas process plants
- Extensive Brownfield experience
- The majority of the above experience should be working within a multicultural environment
- 5 years’ experience in Engineering & Construction projects preferred
- Fluent in the English language
