Description:

Mselect is looking to hire a Senior System Engineer (Development) – Power Platform Solution Developer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 9 years of progressive and directly related experience. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project life cycle, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of projects
• Possess a deep understanding of procurement processes, enabling effective management of vendors and facilitating the acquisition of necessary resources
• Conduct comprehensive technical and commercial evaluations of bids received, allowing for informed decision-making during the selection process
• Reviews analyzes and evaluates user requirements, and prepares feasibility/business case reports and technical requirements documents to make sure that IT projects are delivered according to business needs and approved budget
• Identify user requirements, create scope of work, draft functional requirements, Design, implement, and deploy IT business solutions
• identifying and managing risks associated with a project This includes the ability to develop risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and any changes
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering/Business field
• Minimum 9 years of progressive and directly related experience
• Trained and preferably certified as PMP
• Strong Knowledge and experience in software procurement procedures, requirements/systems analysis, tendering procedures, vendor negotiation, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Information Security requirements
• Excellent people management, problem-solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision-making skills and team player with good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• High-level design document

Key Responsibilities:

• The DevOps Engineer will support the implementation and administration of DevOps practices within the client This individual will be a DevOps Subject Matter Expert and will provide hands-on support and guidance to multiple teams in adopting and integrating DevOps principles to promote a DevOps culture
• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes and tools across the organization
• Support the development and maintenance of a DevOps roadmap, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and objectives
• Collaborate with development, operations, and teams to streamline and automate workflows, from code commits to deployment and monitoring
• DevOps platform administration and support
• Implement DevOps best practices, standards, and guidelines
• Integrate security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle, including promoting secure coding practices

Requirements:

• Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
• Proven track record of successfully implementing DevOps practices in previous roles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proven experience in working on DevOps initiatives and implementing DevOps practices within complex IT environments
• A strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies like Waterfall or Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is essential
• In-depth knowledge and practical proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IAC) principles, tools, and platforms
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Experience with security tools and practices such as SAST, DAST, and software composition analysis
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Skills:

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices

• Our client is seeking an Industrial Electrical Foreman to join our team. The position will be apart of supervision of installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of industrial electrical systems.
• Job Responsibilities: (Working foreman)
• Work with Project Managers, Customers and other types of management to plan, organize, and direct the work of job crew employees daily
• Maintain familiarity with plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope
• Plan layout and installation of same in accordance with job specifications
• Attend coordination meetings as required and provide necessary information
• Receive and review weekly job assignments
• Complete a detailed list of all required materials, tools, and manpower for job assignments and communicate requirements with the direct Project Manager
• Assist in the monitoring and documentation of the progress of the job using appropriate forms and procedures as directed by the Project Manager.
• Provide workforce with current and accurate information as generated by the Project Manager, including RFI's, memorandums, and any other forms of communication devices
• Assist in the communication of company policies and procedures to the job crew

• Able to Interpret and Implement Blueprint specification
