WHAT WORK YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Delivering a full range of Partnership tax services for Financial Services Clients in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe. Responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
  • Providing tax planning and reviewing complex 1065 tax returns of Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, Fund of Funds, and similar complex structures.
  • Review and managing of the Tax returns and supporting Workpapers as per US Tax Law.
  • Compliances for: i) Form 1065, Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3, ii) State and Local Tax compliances iii) International filling compliances.
  • Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services.

  • Professional membership / affiliations with recognized chartered or other professional institutions like ASNT / AWS / TWI / NACE / ASQ-CMQ&OE, MCQI-CQP or similar is desirable.
  • 15 years’ experience in the construction of major Green field or Brown-field Process Plants (Refinery, NGL / LNG Plants, Petrochemical complex or similar) in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Worked with major EPIC Contractors / End User in similar position in major projects with overall responsibility for the Quality of Piping / Mechanical discipline Construction and Commissioning activities. Description:

Mselect is looking to hire a QC Inspector Piping (Brownfield) for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience for graduate engineers in similar positions in the Oil & Gas sector Experience, in GCC is desirable. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor/Witness Contractor’s fabrication, installation, inspection and testing activities related to the Structural Steel, Process Piping, tanks and heaters, including internals installation and associated preceding and succeeding interface activities
  • Witness/verify all inspection and testing activities related to the Welding, NDT, PWHT, Hardness testing, Alloy Verification, painting etc, starting from the procedures/personnel qualification till the respective systems hydro testing and ensure compliance with the project requirements
  • Closely monitor the performance of special processes and personnel, weld Repairs/NDT status etc, and Controls exercised by the contractor and appraise Sr QA/QC engineer in case of any concerns
  • Participate in the receiving inspection of project permanent materials and verification of associated documentation for traceability of Piping bulk materials, Consumables like welding electrodes/filler wires/gases, Painting/wrapping materials etc,
  • Follow-up on Corrective Actions to close out non-conformances
  • Monitor trends of non-compliance to client requirements and feedback on the status of the Contractor’s performance
  • Initiate Surveillance/NCRs for SR QA/QC Engineer’s approval
  • Maintaining relevant QA/QC documents/records

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree and/or diploma with experience in Quality Control in multi- discipline construction environment Preferably having formal training in QC and membership with recognised charted or other professional institution
  • CSWIP 32/AWS Sr Welding Inspector, BGAS GRADE 2 or NACE LEVEL 2 and ASNT NDT Level-II Certification is a must, other equivalent certifications provided by internationally recognized organizations can be accepted
  • Have 10 years’ experience as a graduate engineer and 15 years’ experience as a diploma holder in similar positions in the Oil & Gas sector Experience in GCC is desirable
  • Candidate should have hands-on working experience related to CRA Clad/Lined Pipeline/flow lines and/or the piping/equipment of exotic materials (DSS, SDSS, Ni, Cr etc,) welding inspection/testing
  • Sound knowledge of international standards related to materials and mechanical construction such as API, ASME, ASTM, NACE, DIN, etc
  • The candidate should have sound working knowledge of QC aspects and various testing requirements related to major oil & gas/petrochemical-focused construction projects
