Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and expand the supply chain to improve quality, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities span from field investigations and lab testing to advanced foundation and slope stability analysis. The role involves technical leadership, project management, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and field staff
  • Manage multiple geotechnical projects from proposal to completion
  • Prepare technical proposals, review contracts, and track project budgets
  • Conduct subsurface investigations and perform field & lab soil testing

Perform engineering analyses:

  • Soil classification and laboratory interpretation
  • Shallow and deep foundation design
  • Retaining wall analysis and design
  • Slope stability and settlement analysis
  • Oversee geotechnical report preparation and review:
  • Foundation analysis reports
  • Earth retaining structure reports
  • Laboratory test summaries
  • Supervise subcontractors for fieldwork and testing programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geotechnical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (or related)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Geotechnical Consulting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, report-writing, and project coordination skills
  • PE or PG license (or in process)
  • Experience with field/lab equipment and interpreting soil data
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule

  • Standard 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday
  • In-person at Tallahassee, FL 32303
  • Must be able to reliably commute or relocate before starting
