Position Overview
- We are seeking a Structural Engineer (EIT or PE) to join our engineering team in Fargo, ND. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, structural design, and cross-functional collaboration.
- The Structural Engineer will support design development, perform detailed technical calculations, and ensure projects meet all safety, regulatory, and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural calculations and detailed analysis for steel-framed projects
- Assist with design modeling and preparation of drawings using CAD, Revit, RISA 3D, and Bluebeam
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and project management teams
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Provide technical input to support value engineering and project optimization initiatives
- Participate in problem-solving discussions and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong foundation in structural analysis and engineering calculations
- Proficiency with structural design and analysis software (CAD, Revit, RISA 3D, Bluebeam)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Fargo, ND
