Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas onshore/offshore industry, both brownfield and greenfield, that includes a minimum of facilities design (front-end, conceptual, and detailed design). Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering; A chartered engineer is preferred or working towards it
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas onshore/offshore industry, both brownfield and greenfield, that includes a minimum of facilities design (front-end, conceptual, and detailed design) and a minimum of 5 years in project execution, including construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance (including field troubleshooting)
  • Well conversant with piping stress analysis software (Caesar II), Pvelite & CodeCal, layout studies, material specifications and root cause failure analysis. Knowledge of international codes and standards
  • Computer literacy: Ability to operate standard computer software, such as Microsoft applications
  • Logic thinking and analytical skills
  • Good presentation, communication, and written skills. Interpersonal ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams. Aptitudes for taking the initiative
  • Working knowledge of company business processes and regulatory requirements
  • Managing and measuring work using appropriate metrics and key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • BSc or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline. Preferably Certified PMP or equivalent certifications/memberships
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in planning projects in Oil & Gas including Offshore greenfield and brownfield fabrication and installation of jackets and top sides
  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years’ experience in National Oil Companies and/or International Oil Companies
  • Experience includes project planning, scheduling & phasing, project control & monitoring, forecasting, trending, risk assessment, variations/claims analysis, progress verification
  • High level of computer literacy with MS Office and relevant Project Control software including Primavera. Skills in Primavera Risk Analysis and Power BI are preferable
  • Work experience in the GCC is desirable
  • Well-developed analytical and reporting skills
