Summary of Position:

You will join a skilled team applying cutting edge research in a complex and evolving data environment, develop code to perform complex modeling to detect and characterize objects (using python, tensorflow, pytorch and related software packages) and enhance an evolving analytic tradecraft. You will integrate data from a variety of sources, formats and disciplines into coherent databases, train foundation models to advance the Intelligence Community, fine-tune models to address real intelligence questions, and write compelling documentation and reports for decision makers.

This position will be part of our Defense and Intelligence Team serving the Intelligence Community as our primary customer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Being the member or the WDS team, you will serve as the day-to-day operational lead for DTCC\'s real estate portfolio of properties located in Dallas, Texas.

The individual will be the primary engineering SME coordinating maintenance, incident escalation, OPEX management, capital projects and long-range forecasts, finding opportunities for improvement, etc.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the operation of all critical physical infrastructure (UPS, HVAC, Emergency Generators, high and low voltage electrical systems, monitoring and control systems, and fire detection/suppression systems).
  • Under general supervision tracks and controls projects in progress, sets up equipment testing schedules, preventative maintenance schedules and corrective repairs.
  • Maintains relationship with out-sourced contingent labor workforce (operating engineers and critical infrastructure suppliers).
  • Responds to and supervises emergency and corrective maintenance services.
  • Supports management in the forecasting and managing of the department’s operational and capital budgets.
  • Assists in developing and implementing operations and maintenance policies and procedures that are required to meet departmental and company goals.
  • Supports the development and management of operational and capital budgets.
  • Partners with Facility Management, Data Center Operations, and Security to improve and optimize current operating model.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • B.S in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical work experience operating critical facilities and regional portfolios in the US.
  • Critical facility and/or office building operations with a focus on MEP infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with the design, construction, commissioning, and operations of each facility team is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the operations and maintenance required to support a multi-story office building and data center facility.
  • Knowledge of PC and test equipment. Understanding of MEP drawings. AutoCAD, and MS project a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Database Engineering team is responsible for managing the Distributed Databases, Automation, and Business intelligence technologies.

This role is part of Aurora PostgreSQL Database team and will be responsible for automated provisioning and configuration of database environments.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Lead DevOps Engineer (Database experience) is part of the Aurora PostgreSQL Database team and responsibilities include:
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform (TFE) for automated provisioning and configuration of database environments
  • Create and manage Python scripts, Ansible playbooks, Chef cookbooks and AWS SSM Documents to automate routine database management tasks
  • Create, maintain, and optimize the database automation frameworks and processes
  • Manage CICD pipelines, primarily using Jenkins or Gitlab runners within Gitlab CI/CD
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of database automation with CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database automation processes to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Develop standards and procedures for all aspects of Data Platforms in the Cloud
  • Contribute to Cloud strategy discussions and decisions on overall Cloud design and best approach for implementing Cloud Data solutions
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the automation process
  • Adhere to best practices on Incident, Problem and Change management
  • Lead projects independently with minimal guidance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform
  • Hands on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, and AWS SSM Documents
