Description:

Mselect is looking to hire a Senior Process Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant postgraduate experience related to the Oil & Gas industry. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical design and engineering services in Process Engineering for all assigned engineering projects Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with client procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE
• Conduct Process Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from the initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning
• Ensure the required technical assurance practices, engineering standards, and environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed, in work scopes and whilst conducting Process Engineering activities Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices
• Support Engineering Department to review, update and apply standards and client amendments to external standards
• Plan and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services to meet the project requirements
• Co-ordinate engineering designs, develop and review multi-disciplinary work scopes for projects and other engineering activities Ensure the work scope is comprehensive and clear
• Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance Liaise with contracted organisations to resolve technical issues
• Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery
• Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance
• Review and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practices
• Support the development of personal technical competency and skills, and those of Co-workers Participate in structured training for Associate Engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Chartered / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable
• 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience related to the Oil & Gas industry
• Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Process Engineering
• Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple-project environment
• Fluency in English language with good verbal and writing communication skills and proficiency in conducting presentations

Responsible for managing Process Engineering activities which include supporting day day-to-day operation of the plant, managing the concept/FEED/EPC design work for asset development Projects carried out by Contractors and that are managed in-house, providing all asset-related input to the major Project team. Key accountabilities include providing process engineering support and coordination with other disciplines to ensure Technical integrity is maintained at a high standard aligned with OI requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology
• Minimum of 10 years O&G Offshore experience
• Well-versed in Simulation, equipment sizing, PFD/PEFS, steady and transient flow analysis, Control narratives and C&E, etc
• Experienced in preparing process technical reports
• Experienced in risk management and close-out reports
• Recognized expertise and leadership in Process Engineering Experience in operational troubleshooting, process risk management and providing necessary support to construction & commissioning methods
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to lead the Process Engineering Team
• Working knowledge of company business processes and regulatory requirements
• Ability to analyze operational issues and troubleshooting skills
• Managing and measuring work using appropriate metrics and key performance indicators

Description:

Mselect is looking to hire a Survey Assistant for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience in a similar role. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently carryout detection and mapping of underground services without supervision in oil and gas operational areas as per instruction from Surveyor
• Carry out survey work using GNSS, Total Station and Digital Level without supervision in oil and gas operational areas as per instruction from surveyors.
• Identify and extract underground / above ground services / facility data from multi- disciplinary engineering drawings.
• Download and process field survey data and produce survey drawings in AutoCAD format.
• Produce cartographic quality maps using ArcGIS and AutoCAD
• Maintain survey equipment in good condition.
• Work long hours in onshore and offshore oil and gas operational fields in hot / cold weather conditions.
• Drive company pool vehicles to transport surveyors and equipment to various work sites.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Land Surveying or related field.
• A minimum of six (6) years’ experience in land surveying of at least two (2) years should be in oil and gas industry.
• Good working knowledge of detecting and mapping underground utilities/services scanning using advance survey equipment.
• Good working knowledge of GNSS, Digital Level and Total Stations.
• Good working knowledge of ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
• Ability to work long hours in onshore and offshore oil and gas operational fields in hot/ cold weather conditions.
