Summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil or Structural preferred 5 years of industry related experience with structure engineering and design Professional Engineer Certification PLS-POLE experience preferred, familiarity with 3D modeling software.
  • Strong communication skills Solid IT skills.
  • Requires employee to constantly type and use a computer and other office equipment Good organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the Engineering Standards.
  • Prepare design of structural components for electrical power line and traffic intersection steel structures.
  • Complete engineering calculations and analysis of structures.
  • Ensure provision of proper inputs to designer team for structural fabrication drawings.
  • Review structural drawings for adherence to engineering requirements and project requirements.
  • Interprets contract documents, drawings, job work orders and customer specifications for structure requirements.
  • Ensuring deliverables with required engineering details that meet organization standards and customer standards as applicable. Technical guidance for design reviews, investigation reports, and corporate standards and guidelines development and implementation.
  • Ensure completion of engineering deliverables per the project schedule.
  • Participate in internal & external design reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance as required.

Job Description:

  • Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
  • Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventing reoccurrence.
  • Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faults.
  • Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
  • Installs, moves, and aligns new and existing equipment.
  • Sets up and operates various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Performs both gas and electric welding operations.
  • Completes related machine repair records, performs associated handling duties, and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Performs all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.

  • Education Required:
  • Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)
  • Shift Timing: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
