Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute validation strategies for next-gen EDA tools.
  • Create and test HDL designs (Verilog/VHDL) for tool validation.
  • Automate testing workflows using Python, Tcl, or Bash scripting.
  • Analyze and optimize digital design workflows for performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve product reliability.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in digital design, EDA validation, or testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Verilog, VHDL, and FPGA/ASIC design workflows.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Bash).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based EDA tools and validation methodologies.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to drive sales of our manufacturing machines and production lines across West Africa. Focusing on the FMCG, pump, and detergent manufacturing sectors, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strong technical background, a deep understanding of the West African market, and a proven track record in technical sales.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the West African market for FMCG-related machinery, pumps, and detergent production lines.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client companies.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Develop and submit compelling proposals and quotations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, project management, and sales support teams to ensure seamless project execution and on-time delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).  
  • 3-6 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the packaging machines, pumps, or production lines for FMCG and detergent industries.
  • Established network of contacts and a deep understanding of the West African market, including Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, and Mali.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal). Proficiency in French and/or other local languages is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.  
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the West African region.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred).
